Vitali Rozynko
Vitali Rozynko is a Ukrainian-American baritone with dual Dutch and US citizenship. He studied at Oberlin Conservatory, the Eastman School of Music and London’s Royal Academy of Music, and has performed with leading opera companies and orchestras across Europe and the United States. His operatic appearances include roles with the Aldeburgh Festival, Santa Fe Opera, Opera Colorado, Dutch National Opera and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, working with renowned conductors including Seiji Ozawa, Sir Colin Davis and Vladimir Jurowski. He has appeared at prestigious venues such as Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw and London’s Wigmore Hall.
Alongside an extensive operatic career, Rozynko is an acclaimed concert soloist whose repertoire ranges from Handel and Bach to Verdi, Brahms and contemporary works. Recent highlights include performances of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Handel’s Samson, Verdi’s Requiem, and new opera productions touring throughout the Netherlands and beyond. He regularly collaborates with major orchestras and festivals internationally, and currently teaches at the Dutch National Opera Academy and Groningen Conservatorium. He is also president of Atelier Lyrique de Dordogne, where he leads international vocal residencies and performance programmes in France.

A fiddle player, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Liverpool, Mikey is widely respected for his dedication to preserving and sharing the traditional fiddle music of Northwest England and Ireland, while also creating music that is strikingly personal, imaginative and contemporary. His work has drawn comparisons with artists such as Michael Hurley, Vashti Bunyan and Joanna Newsom for its eccentric beauty and fearless creativity.
His latest album, Tiny Little Light, brings together traditional fiddle tunes and original songwriting in a thoughtful, joyful and deeply atmospheric collection of music. Having collaborated and performed with a wide range of acclaimed artists across the folk and experimental music worlds, Mikey has built a loyal following for his distinctive psychedelic folk sound and heartfelt live performances. Described as “a rare gem” and “like a walking tune book,” he is celebrated not only for his musicianship, but for the sense of wonder, wisdom and authenticity that shines through his work.
