THE SPACE TO CREATE
L’Espace Sauvanie is a converted medieval barn, surrounded by mature English and Japanese gardens and spectacular, open views of the Perigord Vert region of S W France. At its heart is a large, light-filled studio and performance space with exceptional natural acoustics, designed to work equally well for rehearsals, workshops, recording, intimate concerts and creative collaborations. In June we also host Sauvanie Soleil, our annual summer gathering of live music, food, art and other good things.
On warm days, the large doors and hydraulic wall open onto the terrace and gardens, and indoors and outdoors begin to feel like part of the same space. In the cooler months, everything draws in a little closer.
