Whilst we take every care to ensure your stay with us is safe and secure, we strongly advise you take out personal travel insurance as we cannot take responsibility for injury or loss/damage to yourself or your belongings during the course of your travels or stay at L’Espace Sauvanie

We apologize, but this may be unsuitable for those unable to climb stairs, as the accommodation and studio are situated on the first and second floors and there are no lifts or ramps.

1. Concert Tickets – Cancellations and Refunds

If You Are Unable to Attend

As our concerts are intimate events with limited seating, tickets are non-refundable if you are unable to attend, regardless of the reason.

However, we appreciate that unexpected things happen. If you let us know in good time, we will do our best to offer your tickets to someone on our waiting list, where one exists. If we successfully resell them, we will be happy to refund you the ticket price.

Alternatively, you are welcome to pass your tickets on to friends or family, provided you let us know the names of the new ticket holders before the event.

If We Cancel a Concert

If L’Espace Sauvanie has to cancel a concert, all ticket holders will be offered a full refund of the ticket price, including any compulsory booking fees, or the option of transferring their booking to a rescheduled date.

If a concert is rescheduled, you will be entitled to a refund if you are unable to attend the new date.

We cannot normally reimburse personal expenses such as travel or accommodation, except where required by law.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting live music at L’Espace Sauvanie. Your bookings help us continue bringing wonderful musicians to our little corner of the Dordogne.

2. Venue Hire – Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Hirer

We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know in writing as soon as possible.

The following cancellation charges apply, based on the total agreed venue hire fee:

  • More than 90 days before the event: 25%

  • 61–90 days before the event: 50%

  • 31–60 days before the event: 75%

  • 30 days or fewer before the event: 100%

Any amount already paid will be credited against the applicable cancellation charge, with any balance refunded or payable as appropriate.

If we are able to secure another booking for the same dates, we will consider reducing the cancellation charge accordingly.

Cancellation by L’Espace Sauvanie

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your booking for reasons within our control, we will refund all payments received for the cancelled hire in full. Where possible, we will also offer an alternative date, although you will be under no obligation to accept it.

Any additional rights to compensation under French law remain unaffected.

Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Should an event become impossible due to circumstances qualifying as force majeure under French law, we will discuss alternative dates or arrange any refund required by law.

Any refundable damages deposit will be returned in full if the hire is cancelled before the venue is occupied, subject to any lawful deductions for existing liabilities.
